Secure Infrastructure Handover​

When your agent development is complete, the builder will use an approved password manager to securely transfer control of your agent hosting infrastructure. This ensures you can take full ownership of your deployed agent while maintaining security best practices.

Ongoing Maintenance​

If you want your Builder to keep maintaining the agent after delivery, continue the relationship as a retainer — an ongoing hourly engagement billed weekly from logged hours. Scope the maintenance expectations (uptime checks, dependency updates, model/prompt tuning) with your Builder when setting it up. See Payments.

Builder Best Practices​

Service Ownership

  • When setting up new services (cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases, etc.), work directly with the client to create these services in the client's name and account.
  • Ensure the client has full administrative control and ownership of all services from the moment they are created.
  • This approach prevents ownership transfer issues and ensures the client can manage their infrastructure independently at any time.

Source Code Repository

  • All source code should be created and maintained in a client-owned GitHub repository from the start of the project.
  • This ensures the client has immediate access to the codebase and can take full control at any point during or after development.
  • Avoid using builder-owned repositories that require transfer later, as this can create delays and complications during handover.
