For Buyers

This guide walks through the Buyer lifecycle on AgentGraph, from designing an agent to accepting delivery.

1. Design Your Agent​

Create an Agent Request from your Dashboard or the Marketplace. The guided flow captures your agent's goals, integrations, data sources, budget range, timeline, and success criteria, and ends with a Design Summary you can review before publishing. See Agent Design.

You have three ways to engage talent:

  • Publish a request — list your Agent Request for the Builder community to propose on.
  • Invite a Builder — privately invite a specific AI Engineer from the Marketplace to submit a proposal.
  • Book a Service — purchase a pre-scoped, fixed-price offering directly from the Marketplace.

2. Compare Proposals & Select a Builder​

Builders respond to your request with proposals (also called bids) covering their hourly rate, expected weekly hours, approach, and — for larger projects — phased plans. Review them on your Dashboard and in your request's Build Room, compare against Builder profiles, and accept the proposal that fits. See Bidding.

3. Track Development in the Build Room​

Once a Builder is selected, work happens in the Build Room: engagement terms, progress, payments, and delivery review all live there. See Project Setup.

4. Approve Hours & Payments​

For hourly engagements and retainers, your Builder logs hours weekly with notes describing the work. You review and approve (or reject, with a reason) each week's hours; AgentGraph invoices you for approved hours. Fixed-price Services are paid at booking. See Payments.

5. Accept Delivery​

When the Builder submits the finished agent, you review it against your success criteria. Request changes if something is missing, or confirm completion to close out the project and receive your deliverables — repository access, live agent URL, and documentation. See Delivery.

  • Marketplace — find and invite AI Engineers, browse Services.
  • Data Room — a file repository for your organization, so Builders have the context they need.
  • My Organization — manage company details, team members, and your systems landscape.
  • Agent Chat — an in-app assistant that can find engineers, draft Agent Requests, and answer platform questions.
